 Wow!  This is huge!  The NFL is considering allowing players to compete in the LA 2028 Summer Olympic Games in Flag Football.  They've already done a lot with that whole special on Flag Football that they ran prior to the Super Bowl this year and the Pro Bowl game being a Flag Football match.  I know that Miles Garrett and all the Mannings are really big proponents of the game!   TEAM Norway has always been a beast in Men's Ski Jump.  So it is really alarming that they were caught cheating at the latest FIS Ski Jump competition!   Judges found that the athletes' suits had been modified with a specific thread that stiffened their suits unfairly.  The athletes themselves state that they had no idea any modifications had been made and are horrified by these events, stating that they merely trusted their coaches and equipment teams.   So the US is one of the few countries in the World that doesn't actually fund our Olympic Team.  The Team is completely funded by donations and corporate sponsorships.   This leads to many of our Olympic Athletes living near the poverty line. Well...things are about to change! Meet Ross Stevens, the founder and CEO of Stone Ridge Holdings Group, a finance firm that focuses on “nontraditional” investment options such as crypto and fine art, who just donated $100 MILLION dollars to TEAM USA!   Starting with the Olympic and Paralympic Games Milan-Cortina 2026, and going at least through the 2032 Games, every U.S. Olympian and Paralympian will receive $200,000 in financial benefits for each Games in which they compete:  $100,000 to Live: eligible athletes will be able to access this award 20 years after their qualifying Games or at 45 years of age, whichever is later.  The grant will be paid over the course of four years and can be used for any purp...

  The Countdown has started!  The Milano/Cortina Winter Olympic Games will open one year from today! Yes, I know it is a little early to get excited but not for me!   The games will be held from February 6 - 22 2026.  The outdoor events will be held in the Cortina region of the Alps featuring the queen of the Dolomites, Cortina d'Ampezzo, while indoor events will be held in the city of Milan (or Milano as it is known locally).  They will debut a new discipline, Ski Mountaineering, in which athletes hike on foot, cross-country ski, and down-hill ski during a competition.  I'm really looking forward to seeing it!  Bela Karolyi was larger than life!  When I was growing up, he was known as the best gymnastics coach (along with Marta) there was!  I still remember seeing Nadia and seeing Mary Lou for the first time.  They were sooooo good and there he was, right along with them.
