Katie Ledecky has been awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom!

 

The Presidential Medal of Freedom is the Nation’s highest civilian honor, presented to individuals who have made exemplary contributions to the prosperity, values, or security of the United States, world peace, or other significant societal, public or private endeavors.

Katie Ledecky is the most decorated female swimmer in history!  She has won 10 Olympic medals, 7 of which are gold!  She has also won 16 world titles!  Katie will proudly represent Team USA at the Paris Olympics and hopes to compete through the 2028 games in LA.
